Passion and Purpose
Recently, I read an article written by Bruce Poon Tip, a Canadian entrepreneur, and bestselling author. This article posed the question: can you teach people to have passion and purpose OR do you have to recruit passionate, purposeful people?
The conclusion of this article is something I agree with: you can’t bring people into your life or organization and teach them passion and purpose. People are who they are. They are made up of certain thought processes that either blend with you or not. People have to be genuinely passionate and also understand and desire to be part of your purpose.
In order to attract the right people, you have to be very clear about who you are and what your purpose is. The clearer you are, the quicker you will attract someone of like mind. And, people whose inner self is based on a similar purpose will be attracted to you.
